This is great stuff. I will have to get around to it later on.
You can also get “Open command window here” in the right-click context menu by holding down the shift-key while right-clicking a folder, without modifying the registry.

How are the various security updates for windows installed in a live cd or usb? Or the updates for antimalware/antivirus? Or is task #1 to fetch the updates?
Hi Paul,
You can’t update windows on a Live USB. Antivirus will update (most of them).
To run a version of Windows or Linux that you can update and install programs to, you may want to use Virtualbox.
