Installed Puran. Ran a boot defrag then defrag with all options enabled. End result added about 10 seconds to my boot time (Vista Home Premium). Ran Vista built in defrag a couple of times. Boot time restored to normal. I have found that all 3rd party defrag tools extend my boot time (PD2008, Disk Keeper, JF Defrag). Frankly I now just leave the std Vista defrag tool to run once per day at 4PM. This keeps things stable and fast/quick boot times for free!

Paul, I've been trying out Puran Defrag recently and can confirm what Eric says.
It is very good indeed, in fact I ended up paying the license fee I liked it that much.
The only downside I've noticed when compared to PerfectDisk is that the hard drive tends to get fragmented again slightly sooner with Puran than if I do a defrag with PD. That could possibly be down to my PC though and may not be typical for everyone.
