Backing Up Data

Open Nero BackItUp:

From your Programs menu, go to Nero 7 Ultimate > Data > BackItUp

Click on Wizards (advanced users can skip the wizard)

 

 

Check the Select Files and Folders button:

 

Choose the folder you wish to backup:

 

Select the Target (drive) and Target Path (folder), then expand the More button:

 

Next click the Compression Settings button. This will allow you to set the compression level. Click OK.

 

Click Next, If everything loooks right, click Backup:

 

Backing Up An Entire Disk or Partition

Open Nero BackItUp:

From your Programs menu, go to Nero 7 Ultimate > Data > BackItUp

Click on the Drive Backup icon:

 

Select the drive or partition and then click Next:

 

Select the Target (drive) and Target Path (folder), then click Next:

 

Click the Backup button:

 

Finished!

 

 

Scheduling Backups

Open Nero BackItUp:

From your Programs menu, go to Nero 7 Ultimate > Data > BackItUp

Click on the Jobs icon:

 

In the resulting window click the Add Job button, choose which previous backup you whish to schedule and click Next:

 

Choose your schedule and click Next:

 

Finished!
