  X-Plugin v1.0.1        for
  WinAmp 2.x, Winamp 3 Beta,
  Media Jukebox, and ModPlug
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

This file contains some important notes you should
know to be able to run X-Plugin.

System Requirements
===================

X-Plugin is designed for Win98/ME/2000
and needs DirectX 8.0

R E C O M M E N D A T I O N S :
===============================

I recommend that you install the plugin "MilkDrop" from Ryan Geiss
which you can find on www.winamp.com (in their plugins section) somewhere.
This is recommended since X-Plugin will be able to run most of
MilkDrop's presets.
But X-Plugin does *not* need Milkdrop to work.

Installation for Winamp and STARTING X-Plugin
=============================================

- Run the setup executable. This should have been done
  already since you can read this text.
- Start Winamp and press Ctrl+K to open the dialog
  for selecting a visualization plugin.
- Select the X-Plugin and press the Start- or Configure-button.
- If during running X-Plugin (or any other plugin) you do
  not see Winamp's internal vis any more (if it does not
  animate any more), then maybe you would want to have
  a look at the Winamp-preferencies:
  Look in the "Plugins" section. Uncheck the option
  "Disable builtin visualization...".

I M P O R T A N T :
===================
IF YOU HAVE X-PLUGIN V0.1b OR X-PLUGIN V0.2.3 INSTALLED,
AND YOU INSTALL X-PLUGIN V1.0.1, THEN V0.1b AND V0.2.3 STILL
WILL BE AVAILABLE. YOU WILL HAVE TO EXPLICITELY SELECT
X-PLUGIN V1.0.1 IN THE LIST OF PLUGINS IN WINAMP.

For more informations please read the First-Aid that popups up when
you start X-Plugin for the first time, or read the readme.txt delivered
with this package and which should have been installed into a
subdirectory named X-Plugin of your Winamp's plugins directory
(mostly this is "C:\program files\Winamp\Plugins").
