Thanks for the heads up on slimming down the iTunes installer Eric. However I wanted to install to a non default location and couldn’t remember the DOS switches to do this.
I experimented a bit and found if you extract AppleApplicationSupport.msi, Quicktime.msi, iTunes.msi and also SetupAdmin.exe to a directory of your choice then there is no need to run the passive install. I double clicked on SetupAdmin.exe then ran iTunes.msi which then proceeded to install iTunes, Quicktime and AppleApplicationSupport to the directory of my choice.
I’m actually not sure whether executing SetupAdmin.exe is necessary, it may well be that it just has to be in the same directory as the other 3 files.
