April 2, 2022, 12:38(EDT) By Eric (a.k.a. TweakHound)

I just wanted to quickly update y’all, it has been a while since my New Phone – Part 3 article.

Quick “Reviews”

Galaxy S21 FE 5G, 256GB (Unlocked)
I dunno, it’s just a phone. It does what it’s supposed to and everything works fine. Usability wise, I don’t feel like any progress has been made since I had my Droid Razr Maxx HD. Not very “techie” of me I know. Maybe I’m just in a mood…

Galaxy Watch4, 40mm, Black, Bluetooth
Pretty neat at keeping an eye on how much exercise I’m getting. I don’t wear it 24/7. I put it on before I leave the house in the morning and take it off when I get home.

Galaxy Buds Live, Mystic Black
I really don’t have anything positive to say about these. They won’t stay in my ears if I do anything remotely active, or drive down a bumpy road…

Galaxy Buds Pro, Phantom Silver
Bought these for the gym. They are connected to a SanDisk music player not my phone. Sound quality is excellent. Even after trying all 3 ear-tip sizes I still have a hard time getting them stay in. I’m currently using the large ear tip in one ear and medium in another. There are some days I just use my old wired headphones.

Like I said, maybe I’m just in a mood…

I also ended up getting the Galaxy S21 FE after my prior carrier forced me to buy a new phone. My mini-review: Pros: performance, picture quality, battery life, Android 12 aesthetics; Cons: size, Android 12 ergonomics, NO FRACKING HEADPHONE JACK IN A $700 PHONE! Because that would be too much to ask…
