Using The Acronis True Image Boot CD
Many of you know Acronis True Image is my main backup program. Most of the time I do not use it from the installed program, I use the Boot CD. This requires no installation, tends to have less issues, and does Linux partitions.
It is amazingly easy to use. (If you don’t have Acronis True Image yet then get it here.)
Step 1 – Download and burn the CD:

Next, follow this little video. The video is of making a backup with the boot CD. Restoring uses the same method.
Excuse the quirkiness of the video. The only way to show you the boot CD in action was to use it under VirtualBox.
