There has been controversy over Login Requirements and Nvidia sending telemetry.
Just choose custom install and don’t install GeForce Experience. You don’t need it.
*I’m wrong. More later…
And to all the websites out there that claim Nvidia isn’t spying, SHAME ON YOU. If Microsoft or the NSA were doing it you would lose your fracking minds.

FWIW, the scheduler Nvidia telemetry get installed even if you only install driver, HD audio and physicX

          Eric,
          Is this bad information?
          http://www.majorgeeks.com/news/story/nvidia_adds_telemetry_to_latest_drivers_heres_how_to_disable_it.html

It claims that the drivers have telemetry regardless of GeForce Experience.
          Thanks.

At first glance it sounds like the fox guarding the henhouse.
But, IMHO I think most Geeks realize that the future of Microsoft is not Windows. They have said as much.
With that in mind I am all for giving them a shot at contributing, under a very watchful eye.
I would put on caveat. They drop all the patent bullsquat and allow Linux full access legally to things like file systems and networking. I’ll let the Super-Geeks sort that out.
