Magician isn’t a driver nor does it install one.

Just updated from 6.3.0 to 7.0.0 and Magician no longer runs, absolutely nothing. Cannot load from desktop shortcut or directly using executable. Installed as administrator on a fully up to date version of Windows 10 20H2. Would be grateful for suggestions as to why the total failure to run and a restart changes nothing ! Thanks.

      I don’t know.
Do you still have the old version? If not let me know and I’ll send it to you.

I hate their privacy policy and do not want to accept it. Why is there no way to opt out? What’s new with V7?

Magician is not required for for normal operation of your SSD.

Up to the previous version we used to have an option in the performance tab to optimize the driver……..is not there anymore with version 7, would someone please enlighten me on this?

That’s optimize drives not driver. That simply runs TRIM and it is still there.
