FAQ – Why haven’t you updated the Win10 tweak guide?
A –
Writing the tweak guide takes considerable time. Even when changes for a version of Win10 aren’t major, it changes enough where wording needs to be altered and all new screenshots need to be taken. I have to basically do this twice, once for the online version, and once for the PDF. It is a PITA with little return on investment.
I had fully intended on doing an update for the current version (2004) but I had to roll back to the previous version. Like so many updates from Microsoft anymore, this one broke several things. One of the things I’ve always prided myself on is that the guides I write reflect how I actually use the operating system.
Right now, life is busy and this site is just a hobby. I very much hope to get a new version out this fall but that depends on Microsoft as much as it does me.
Thanks for hanging with me y’all.

Don’t worry Eric. We’re all in this together. The fact that you’re willing to do still do this for us, only
means you care. I love the Queen song “Don’t Try So Hard”…”It’s only fools who make these rules.
Don’t try so hard.” Take care.

You mean you will skip 2004 and install Windows 10 20H2 that will available sometime this fall?

Or, they will get 2004 completely fixed

The 2004 update has finally pushed me to really pursue the viability of making a complete switch to a Linux based OS over the next year.

The removal of the ability to defer updates, even in the enterprise is just unacceptable to me.

By the way, why Grammarly, doesn’t work on your website, in here, the comments section?

Did you update to 2004 or not yet? Just wanted to know your input. Thank you.
