Samsung Magician 4.2.1

The Samsung Magician SSD management utility has been updated to version 4.2.1.

The Samsung Magician software is designed to help users easily manage the health and performance of their Samsung SSD. In addition to providing vital SSD health status information, Magician will assist users in updating firmware, measuring performance, and optimizing the configuration of a Windows operating system installation.
Samsung Magician software is developed and distributed exclusively for owners of Samsung Solid Sate Drives (SSDs).

New in Version 4.2.1
Magician 4.2.1 features a number of improvements over version 4.1:
– RAPID(Real Time Acceleration Processing of I/O data) Mode
– Dynamic Over Provisioning
>Recommended : 10 % of available space for OP by default
>Custom : User can provide the percentage of available space for OP
– Disk Authenticity :
This feature has been removed from the main menu of Home screen and integrated with Disk Drive view and improved compatibility issue between 840 and 840 PRO under specific systems.
– OS Optimization :
After configuring the Virtual memory in the OS Optimization (Reliability/Endurance/Capacity), if the Virtual memory is configured successfully then user will be prompted to do a system restart by magician application.
– DPI(Display Interface) scaling limited to maximum 115% incase user changes the DPI more than 100%. With this also some of system component like menu, message box and scroll bar are still scalable based on user selection
