This is a holiday weekend here in the United States. Memorial Day is Monday, May 28th.
This weekend is the unofficial start of summer. Folks across the country will head off to the beaches, lakes, rivers, amusement parks…
That is as it should be. Please take a minute Monday to thank those who lost their lives in the service of this country. How you do it is unimportant. My annual custom is a simple toast, “Thank you brothers and sisters.” For many years I have tried to do so at 1500hrs local time.
