Windows 10 Disable Power Throttling

By

I have seen 2 posts about Win10 FCU messing with peoples power plans. One of them even intimated Win10 was somehow covertly throttling CPUs. A dastardly deed if there ever was one.
There is in fact a super-duper-top-secret way to disable CPU throttling in Windows 10. I’m going to show you but you must promise to keep this very covert and dangerous information away from… well, somebody. In fact this message may self-destruct any moment.

Site Stuff
– Tried 2 poll widgets in the sidebar. YOP Poll doesn’t work with caching. Polldaddy screws up site layout. I really like site polls. They’re just fun. If anyone has a solution let me know.
– I increased main content window width and reduced sidebar width. Let me know if there are any issues.
– Not much going on out there. Here is what I bookmarked in the last few days (can you guess what band I’m listening to?):

Dirty White Boy
DNC’s Data Service Manager Madeleine Leader doesn’t want any Dirty White Boy’s in her IT department. She sent out an email looking for IT staff, “I personally would prefer that you not forward to cisgender straight white males, as they are already in the majority.”
Are you worried what your friends see, and will it ruin your reputation loving me?

Urgent
“About a quarter of all U.S. adults (26%) get news from two or more social media sites.” If you get your news from Social Media you’re just plain wrong.
You play tricks on my mind. You’re everywhere but you’re so hard to find. You’re not warm or sentimental. You’re so extreme, you can be so temperamental.

Head Games
Equifax clears executives who sold shares after hack. No surprise here. We all knew they would get away with it.
But if you wanna win you gotta learn how to play, head games.

Feels Like The First Time
Verizon Wants FCC to Ban States From Protecting Your Privacy. This isn’t the first time Verizon has lobbied against their customers, it just feels like it.

Cold As Ice
Some movie theaters aren’t gonna show Star Wars: The Last Jedi because they will lose money showing it. Seems Disney has gone over to the dark side and is demanding a greater percentage of the gate than ever before. That’s just Cold As Ice.

That Was Yesterday
One of my favorite beers got released. A reporter stopped and asked me a few questions on my way out of the brewery. But That Was Yesterday.

16% market share and falling.

Oh No He Didn’t
Tim Cooke called out Social Media because, “some of these tools are used to divide people, to manipulate people, to get fake news to people in broad numbers so as to influence their thinking.” I agree, well, actually I think social media is proof of humanities downfall and is the offspring of the devil and the Borg queen.
