IE 11 for Windows 7 is out.
IE 11 is the default for Windows 8.1.
I expect this to show up in Windows Update for Windows 7 but hasn’t yet.

Skype Windows Store app crashes in Windows 8.1 and in Windows Server 2012 R2
Just run Windows Update to install it.

Both Google and Mozilla have announced support for Windows XP beyond Microsoft’s April 8, 2014 deadline. It’s a transparent attempt to inflate their market share at the expense of users. Folks, they aren’t doing you any favors.
