Vista SP2 Cleanup
The service pack cleanup tool has been renamed for SP2. The command is now compcln.exe.
Run this command from the command line. After running this command you WILL NOT be able to uninstall SP2.
Vista SP2
Windows Vista Service Pack 2 has been released to the general public. These downloads contain both Vista SP2 and Server 2008 SP2.
These should appear via Windows Update today.
*edit 14:26 (EST) – It is on Windows Update now. I’m downloading it and installing on my last Vista machine (all others that had Vista are on Windows 7 now). My download (x64) is 567.3 MB.

ATI Catalyst 9.5’s, Official
As I opined on Friday, AMD had issues with their servers. The 9.5 drivers are now ‘officially’ out.

Microsoft also says it will finalize Windows 7 in mid-August and deliver it to the public in time for the 2009 holiday season. I can tell you, however, that the general availability date is a lot more specific than that: You’ll be able to get the final version of Windows 7 publicly on October 15, 2009, according to the current schedule.

ATI Catalyst 9.5's, Delayed
The ATI Catalyst 9.5 drivers were scheduled for release today. These drivers made it to their servers then disappeared. I do not know why they disappeared but the main ATI Driver download page has been extremely slow all day.
An initial forum post on the subject was removed and there is now a forum post stating “Sorry guys and gals the drivers are delayed until monday unfortunately. If you already download the drivers manually then you wont need to re-download them on monday as far as I am aware.”
The only place I can find these drivers at the moment is at techPowerUp so head there if you want them.
Check here Monday when they become officially released.
