PC Pitstop
Speaking of Sweet Sites. My site made the PC Pitstop Newsletter this month. I hadn’t been there in years and had forgotten about it. Thanks to all the PC Pitstop readers for stopping by and another Thank You for reintroducing me to PC Pitstop!

Vista Network Tweaks
I’ve been running some tests on Vista networking tweaks and I would appreciate any input you might have, especially in the testing department. Below are the tweaks and test scenarios. I will report my impressions in a few days so as not to influence any would-be testers. If you provide feedback please include what type of connection (cable, dsl, etc.) you have, what type of network card (10/100, giga, etc.) and what type of downloading you do (standard from browser, torrent, download manager, etc). What backup program(s) do you use?
I need your help. I’m working on a revision to my XP backup article, a version for Vista, and a version for Linux.
– What program(s) to you use for backups?
– Where do you backup? (another drive, CD/DVD, external hard drive, another computer…)
Please take a moment to reply by posting a comment. Thanks 🙂
