Cool ! 50 years ago this week-glad you posted this. I remember having a walkie-talkie set that looked like a pair of communicators when I was around 8 or 9 years old. Worked rather well. Just learned that it actually debuted in Canada on CTV 2 days (Sept 6, 1966) before its USA premier. So your post was spot on time.
