Some fixes and some info.

The Pagefile
A reader emailed about my article The Windows 7 Pagefile And Running Without One from 2011.
IMHO this article is outdated and does not apply to Win10.
The way Windows handles memory has changed significantly since Windows 7. Under Win10 the pagefile min and max varies on a number of factors.
IMHO most people will never see any change in performance regardless of pagefile settings and it is therefore pointless to mess with it. The best solution is a fast SSD and plenty of RAM.

If you are still having issues with Cortana/searchui.exe CPU spikes then Microsoft may have a fix for you:
Fix problems in Windows Search – Use the Use a PowerShell script to reset Windows Search section.

Recent Win10 updates have broken sfc /scannow. To fix this:
1 – Open a Admin command prompt > enter or copy/paste: dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and let it run
2 – Enter or copy/paste: sfc /scannow > done!

Would it be safe for a person to delete the Task Scheduler Windows 7 Telemetry files from it, Or would that cause the OS to act weird?

Eric, please feel free to move it (I felt it was easy to post it as a reply here) or to discard it, as you deem fit. But I think this may interest many of us. There’s a nice VPN comparison which goes way beyond the normal quick reviews or comparisons. You can find it here:
